*ELIMINATING BREAKOUTS*

1. CUT OUT THE OILS.
-Applying vaseline to your face leaves your skin glowing and looking radiant. Unfortunately that's only on the surface! Underneath, the oil from the vaseline clogs yours pores, which keeps them from breathing.

2. WASH YOUR FACE TWICE A DAY.
-Wash your face once in the morning to remove the oils that are trapped in your pores during sleep. Wash it a second time, before bed, to cut the oils and dirt that accumulates during the day.

*Wash it a third time if you've just finished a work out.

I Recommend:
-normal skin: St. Ives Apricot Face Wash; $4, Drugstores
-sensitive skin: Phisoderm Facial Wash, Sensitive; $5, Drugstores
3. EXFOLIATE.
-Use a facial scrub at least 2-3 times per week to exfoliate and eliminate dead, dry skin.
-It's very important that you DO NOT 'over-exfoliate' your skin. It may become dammaged or inflamed.

I Recommend:
-normal skin: Biore Pore Unclogging Scrub; $6, Drugstores
-sensitive skin: St. Ives Apricot Scrub, Gentle For Sensitive Skin; $4, Drugstores
4. KILL BACTERIA.
-Apply an acne treatment that contains either *benzoyl peroxide, or sulfur, all over your face, including areas that aren't acne-prone.

I Recommend:
-Clinique Acne Solutions Clearing Moisturizer; $16, Macy's
-Pro-Activ Solution Refining Mask; $20, PROACTIV.COM
5. MOISTURIZE.
-Your best bet, instead of using vaseline is to moisturize the skin daily. Moisturizers calm the skin (after being washed), and leaves your skin feeling light and moisturized [of course].

I Recommend:
-normal skin: CLEAN & CLEAR Morning Burst Shine Control Moisturizer; $7, Drugstores
-sensitive skin: Aveeno Ultra-Calming Daily Moisturizer [SPF15]; $14, Drugstores
